Public Transport
From Deva, head to the Deva Bus Station (Autogara Deva) located near the city center. Take a bus towards Simeria, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule upon arrival. Once you arrive in Simeria, you'll need to get off at the stop closest to DJ700A. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Măgura Uroiului.
Walking
After arriving in Simeria, if you choose to walk to Măgura Uroiului, exit the bus and head towards DJ700A. The preserve is located about 3 km from the bus stop. You can follow DJ700A directly, which will take you through scenic areas. Make sure to have a map or GPS to guide you along the way. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Taxi
Alternatively, after arriving in Simeria, you can hire a taxi from the bus stop directly to Măgura Uroiului. The taxi ride will take about 10 minutes. Be sure to agree on the fare beforehand or ensure the meter is running.
