Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey at the Drobeta-Turnu Severin city center, near the famous Trajan's Bridge. From the bridge, head southeast towards Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada Mihai Viteazul. Turn left onto Strada Mihai Viteazul and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Bulevardul Carol I. Cross the boulevard and proceed onto Strada Calea Severinului. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the entrance to Pădurea Crihala on your right.

  • Public Transport

    From the Drobeta-Turnu Severin train station, take bus line 1 or 2 heading towards Strada Calea Severinului. Get off at the stop 'Calea Severinului' after about 10-15 minutes. After disembarking, walk back to the main road and head towards the entrance of Pădurea Crihala which will be a short 500-meter walk on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Drobeta-Turnu Severin city center and head towards Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Continue onto Strada Mihai Viteazul, then Bulevardul Carol I. Once you reach Strada Calea Severinului, follow it for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The entrance to Pădurea Crihala will be on your right, making it a pleasant ride through the city.
