If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Făgăraș. Head south on DN1 towards the village of Cârța. Continue on this road for approximately 24 km until you reach the village of Hârseni. From Hârseni, turn onto DJ105 and follow it towards the direction of Piscu Negru. After about 10 km, you will reach the trailhead for Cascada Piscul Negru. There is a small parking area available close to the trailhead, but be cautious as it can get crowded during peak tourist seasons. Parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Cascada Piscul Negru using public transportation, take a bus from Făgăraș to the village of Hârseni. Buses run regularly throughout the day, but check local schedules for the latest times. Once you arrive in Hârseni, you will need to walk approximately 10 km along DJ105 in the direction of Piscu Negru. It is recommended to use a map application on your phone to navigate the walking route, as signage may be limited. Be prepared for a scenic but rugged walk.
