Getting there

Car

If you are driving from the nearest town in the Fagaras Mountains, such as Făgăraș, take DN1 towards Brășov. After approximately 16 km, turn left onto DJ105 towards Șercaia. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach Șercaia. Upon entering the village, look for Str. Principală and turn right. Strand is located at Str. Principală 169. Ensure to have change for any tolls on the DN1.

Public Transportation

To reach Strand by public transport, you can take a train from Brașov to Făgăraș. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour. From Făgăraș, you can catch a local bus heading to Șercaia. Buses leave regularly from the Făgăraș bus station and take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Șercaia, walk towards Str. Principală, and you will find Strand at number 169. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they may vary.

Taxi or Rideshare

If you prefer a more direct route without relying on public transport schedules, consider booking a taxi or using a rideshare app from Făgăraș to Strand. The distance is about 25 km, and the ride should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
