Car
If you are driving, start from the nearest town, Făgăraș. Head south on DN1, then take the exit towards DN7C (Transfăgărășan). After approximately 20 kilometers, look for signs to the hiking trails leading to Vf. Tărâța. There is a parking area at the base of the trail, which may have a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Vf. Tărâța via public transportation, take a train or bus to Făgăraș. From there, you can catch a local bus heading towards the Transfăgărășan highway.
