From Giurgiu city center, head southwest on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 toward Strada Oituz. Continue onto DN5 (E85) for about 14 km. Take the exit toward Frumușani and merge onto DJ401. Follow DJ401 for approximately 3 km, then turn left onto a dirt road leading into Pădurea Pițigaia. There is no fee for parking at the entrance.

Start at the Giurgiu Bus Station (Autogara Giurgiu) and take a bus towards Frumușani. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 5 RON. Once you arrive in Frumușani, you can either walk about 2 km to Pădurea Pițigaia or take a local taxi, which should cost around 15 RON to reach the entrance of the forest.
