As you approach the village of Băile Tușnad, look for signs indicating Hășmaș Mountains. Take the exit towards the mountains and follow the winding road, which will lead you into the stunning scenery of the Hășmaș Mountains. There are several parking areas along the routes for visitors.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Harghita to Miercurea Ciuc. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. From Miercurea Ciuc, you will need to transfer to a local bus that heads towards the Hășmaș Mountains. Ensure to check the bus schedule as the frequency may vary. Arriving at the nearest bus stop, you may need to walk approximately 2-3 kilometers to reach the main hiking trails in the mountains.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route or are traveling with a group, consider taking a taxi. You can easily find taxis in Harghita. Simply provide the driver with 'Hășmaș Mountains' as your destination. The journey will take about 30 minutes and costs approximately 100-150 RON, depending on the service and traffic conditions.

  Once you arrive at the parking area or the bus stop near the Hășmaș Mountains, you may need to walk to access the trails.
