From central Hunedoara, head southeast on Strada 22 Decembrie toward Strada Avram Iancu. Continue on Strada 22 Decembrie for about 1.5 km. Turn right onto DJ687 and follow it for approximately 6 km. Look for signs indicating 'Cetatea Blidaru.' The fortress is located about 1 km from the nearest parking area. Parking is available near the base of the fortress, which may incur a small fee of around 5 RON.

Take a bus from Hunedoara to the nearest village, Săcămaș. Buses run regularly from the main bus station in Hunedoara.
