Car
From Hunedoara, head south on DN66 towards Deva. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit toward DN7. Continue on DN7 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the village of Băcia. Here, turn left onto DJ687, following the signs to Fundătura Ponorului. Drive for about 10 kilometers on this road, and you will see signs directing you to the parking area for Fundătura Ponorului. There may be a small fee for parking, usually around 5 RON.

Start by taking a local bus from Hunedoara to Deva. Buses run frequently from the central bus station. Once you arrive in Deva, transfer to a bus heading towards Băcia. This route will take approximately 45 minutes. After arriving in Băcia, you will need to walk or take a taxi for about 10 kilometers to reach Fundătura Ponorului. Be aware that public transportation may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance.
