If you are driving from Baia Mare, take DN18 towards Sighetu Marmației. Continue on DN18 for about 65 kilometers. After reaching the town of Sighetu Marmației, follow signs for DJ109E towards the village of Moisei. Drive through Moisei and continue for around 20 kilometers until you reach the sign for Lacul Morărenilor. Turn off the main road onto a smaller access road that leads directly to the lake. Parking is available on-site.
