If you are driving from Baia Mare, take the DN18 road towards Sighetu Marmației. After approximately 50 kilometers, turn left onto DJ186 towards Poiana Soarelui. Follow the road for about 10 kilometers, and you will arrive at Poiana Soarelui, which is located at the coordinates 47.752659 latitude and 23.7179558 longitude. Please note that parking might be limited during peak seasons.
Public Transport
To reach Poiana Soarelui via public transport, start by taking a bus from Baia Mare to Sighetu Marmației. Buses leave frequently from the Baia Mare bus station and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you reach Sighetu Marmației, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Poiana Soarelui. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they can vary, and the fare for the bus ride is typically around 10 RON. After approximately 30 minutes, the bus will drop you off near Poiana Soarelui.
