If you're driving, start from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, the main city in Mehedinți. Take DN6 (E70) towards Craiova. After approximately 20 kilometers, turn right onto DJ606 towards Baia de Arama. Follow DJ606 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the village of Țăsna. From there, follow the signs towards Cheile Țăsnei, which is about 5 kilometers away. The last stretch may involve driving on a gravel road, so proceed with caution.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a train or a bus from Drobeta-Turnu Severin to Baia de Arama. Buses are available from the local bus station. Once in Baia de Arama, take a taxi or check for local minibuses heading towards Țăsna. The taxi ride from Baia de Arama to Cheile Țăsnei should cost around 30-50 RON, depending on the distance and negotiation. It's advisable to confirm the fare before getting in.
