If you are traveling by car, start on the A1 highway from Bucharest. Continue on the A1 until you reach the exit for DN65 towards Slatina. Follow DN65 for approximately 45 km until you merge onto DN6 towards Craiova. After around 40 km, take the exit for DN67 towards Târgu Jiu. Continue on DN67 for about 70 km until you reach the town of Dobrovăț. The Dobrovat Monastery is located at Sat – Ruşi Dobrovăț 707175, which is just off the main road. Look for signs directing you to the monastery as you approach the town.
