Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Târgu Neamț. Head southeast on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 towards Strada Cetății. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach Strada Cetății, where you will see the Neamț Citadel on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Neamț Citadel via public transportation, take a local bus from Târgu Neamț central bus station heading towards 'Cetatea Neamț' (Neamț Citadel). The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Cetatea Neamț' stop, and you will see the citadel a short walk away, just follow the signs.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Târgu Neamț, you can walk to the Neamț Citadel. From the main square (Piața Ștefan cel Mare), head east on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach Strada Cetății. Turn right, and after a few minutes, you will arrive at the citadel entrance.
