Getting There

  From your location in Prahova Valley, head towards the DN1 road (National Road 1). Depending on where you are in the valley, you may need to navigate through several smaller roads to reach DN1. Once on DN1, drive towards Ploiești. Continue on DN1 for approximately 40 km until you reach Ploiești. As you enter Ploiești, follow signs for the city center. Turn onto Strada Stadionului, and the Church of Saints Nicholas and Alexander will be located at number 21 on this street. There is typically street parking available, but it may incur a small fee depending on the area.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Church of Saints Nicholas and Alexander by public transportation, first make your way to the nearest train station in Prahova Valley, such as Bușteni or Sinaia. Catch a train heading towards Ploiești. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ploiești train station, exit the station and locate the bus stop. Take bus number 9 or 14, which will take you closer to the city center. Get off at the stop nearest to Strada Stadionului. From there, it is a short walk to the church, located at Strada Stadionului 21. Be sure to check the bus schedule for any potential fees, as public transport usually costs around 2-3 RON.
