Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Prahova Valley, take DN1 road towards Sinaia. Continue on this road for approximately 12 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Daffodils Glade' or 'Poiana cu Narcise' as you approach the area around the Bucegi Mountains. Once you reach the village of Vărbilău, turn left onto DJ102G, following the signs. This road will lead you through the picturesque countryside. After about 5 kilometers, you will see a small parking area near the entrance to Daffodils Glade. Note that parking may require a small fee, typically around 5 RON.

• Public Transportation

  To access Daffodils Glade via public transport, first take a train from Bucharest to Sinaia, which operates several times a day. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Sinaia train station, exit and find the local bus stop. Take bus number 30 towards Cota 1400. This bus will take you to the nearest stop to Daffodils Glade, which is about 3 kilometers away. From there, you will need to walk along the marked hiking trail. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as it may vary throughout the day. The bus fare is usually around 5 RON.

• Hiking

  If you are in the vicinity and prefer hiking, you can start from the nearby village of Vărbilău. The hike to Daffodils Glade is approximately 4 kilometers and takes around 1.5 hours. Follow the marked hiking trails that begin at the village, ensuring to take the path that leads towards the Bucegi Mountains. It is advisable to wear sturdy hiking boots and carry water, as the trail can be steep in places.
