Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Prahova. Navigate to E60 road heading towards Posada. The drive should take approximately 30 minutes, covering around 25 kilometers. Look for the signage indicating 'Cascada Posada' as you approach Posada. There is parking available near the waterfall, but be aware that it may incur a small fee depending on the season.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Prahova to the nearest train station, which is located in Posada. Check the local train schedules as they vary, but trains typically run every hour. Once you arrive at Posada station, you can either walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) or take a local taxi to Cascada Posada. Taxis are usually available at the train station and will cost around 15 RON to reach the waterfall.
Walking from Posada
If you prefer to walk from the local area, after arriving at Posada, head south on E60. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you see signs for Cascada Posada. The walk should take roughly 20-30 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the terrain may be uneven in parts.
