If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest city, Bistrita. Head south on DN17 road towards the Rodnei Mountains. After approximately 30 km, turn onto DJ173 towards Rodna. Continue on DJ173 for about 20 km until you reach the junction with DN18. Follow the signs towards Pasul Rotunda, which is located at coordinates 47.5435221, 25.0082247. Note that the last stretch of road may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

Public Transportation

To reach Pasul Rotunda via public transportation, take a train or a bus to Bistrita. From Bistrita, you can catch a local bus heading towards Rodna. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Rodna, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for transportation, as the pass is not easily accessible by foot from the bus stop.
