Car
If you are driving from Zalău, take DN1H towards Șimleu Silvaniei. Continue on DN1H for about 20 kilometers. When you reach the village of Bădăcin, turn left onto DJ108C. Follow DJ108C for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area near Lacul Albastru. There is no parking fee, but make sure to arrive early as spots can fill up quickly.
Public Transportation
From Zalău, take a train or a bus to Șimleu Silvaniei. The bus station is located in the city center. Once in Șimleu Silvaniei, look for a local bus heading towards Bădăcin. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bădăcin, it is a 10-minute walk to Lacul Albastru. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions, as the path is well-marked.
Walking
If you are already in Bădăcin, you can walk to Lacul Albastru. Head south on DJ108C for about 1 kilometer. The lake is visible from the road, and there are signs indicating the path to the lake entrance. The walk should take around 15 to 20 minutes.
