If you are driving, start from the center of Sibiu. Head towards Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu and follow the signs for Strada Turnului. Once you reach Strada Turnului, continue straight until you arrive at Brukenthal Palace, located at Strada Turnului 19. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to park on a side street if the lot is full. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 5 RON per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Brukenthal Palace using public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop. You can take bus number 11 or 13 from various points in Sibiu, such as the Train Station or Piata Mare. Ride the bus to the stop named 'Piața Mare.' From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the palace. Head southeast on Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu, then turn left onto Strada Turnului. Follow this road until you reach the palace. The bus ticket costs approximately 2 RON.
Walking
If you are already in the historical center of Sibiu, walking to Brukenthal Palace is a pleasant option. Start from Piata Mare (the Great Square) and head southeast towards Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu. Continue straight until you reach Strada Turnului. The walk should take about 15 minutes, and you’ll enjoy the charming streets along the way. The palace is located at Strada Turnului 19, and entry is free to walk around the grounds, but there may be a fee for guided tours inside.
