From the center of Sighisoara, start at the Clock Tower (Turnul cu Ceas). Head southeast on Strada T. Vladimirescu, passing by the old houses and shops. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada Scolii, where you will turn left. Follow Strada Scolii until you reach the intersection with Strada Mihai Viteazul. Turn right onto Strada Mihai Viteazul, and then take the next left onto DC54. Continue walking along DC54 for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Via Transilvanica along the way. The trail begins at DC54 126, Sighișoara 545400.
