Getting There

    If you are driving from the center of Nyakinama, take the main road towards the Karisimbi Volcano. Follow the signs for the National Park. After approximately 15 minutes, you will see a sign for Buhanga Eco-Park. Turn left onto the dirt road leading to the park. The parking area is available at the entrance of the park. Make sure to pay the entrance fee of approximately $10 USD per person.

    To reach Buhanga Eco-Park using public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyakinama to the nearest bus station heading towards the Karisimbi Volcano.
