If you are driving from the center of Nyakinama, take the main road towards the Karisimbi Volcano. Follow the signs for the National Park. After approximately 15 minutes, you will see a sign for Buhanga Eco-Park. Turn left onto the dirt road leading to the park. The parking area is available at the entrance of the park. Make sure to pay the entrance fee of approximately $10 USD per person.

To reach Buhanga Eco-Park using public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyakinama to the nearest bus station heading towards the Karisimbi Volcano. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Buhanga Eco-Park stop. The fare is around 500 Rwandan Francs.
