Serenity and Nature at Hope Garden, Kigali

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Kigali City Center (Kimisagara), head east towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Commerce. Turn left onto Avenue du Commerce and walk for another 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Revolution. Here, you will see the sign for Gatare. Turn right onto Avenue de la Revolution and proceed for about 1 kilometer. Once you reach the Gatare area, look for a sign pointing to Hope Garden. It will be about 300 meters down that road, on your right.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Kigali City Center, take a bus heading towards Nyamirambo. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Gatare stop. Once you get off, walk east for about 500 meters until you reach Avenue de la Revolution. Turn left and walk for another 600 meters. Look for a sign directing you to Hope Garden, which will be on your right side.

• Bicycle

  Starting from the Kigali City Center, rent a bicycle and head east on Avenue de la Paix. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Commerce. Turn left onto Avenue du Commerce and cycle for 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Avenue de la Revolution, turn right and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the Gatare sign and follow it for 300 meters. Hope Garden will be located on your right.
