Car
If you're driving from the town of Kibuye, head north on the main road (Route Nationale 7) for approximately 5 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you towards the Unnamed Road leading to the Sunset View Point. You will see a turn-off to the right; take this road and continue on it for about 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
From Kibuye town, you can take a local moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to reach the Sunset View Point. The moto-taxi drivers are familiar with the area and can take you directly to the viewpoint. Negotiate the fare before starting your trip; it usually costs around RWF 1,500 to RWF 3,000 depending on your bargaining skills and the time of day. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes.
Walking
If you're staying close to Kibuye and want to enjoy the scenery, you can walk to the Sunset View Point. Start from the center of Kibuye town, head north on Route Nationale 7, and follow the signs towards the Unnamed Road. The walk is about 6 kilometers one way and should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water.
