Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the center of Muhanga, head south towards Avenue de la Paix. Walk along this road for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by local shops and restaurants on your way. After 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for ACEJ ESCARIEN on your right. Follow the sign, and the destination is a short walk further down a path leading to the hiking area.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Muhanga. Start at the main market area and cycle towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue down Avenue de la Paix for about 500 meters. At the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance, turn left. Cycle on Avenue de l'Indépendance for about 1 kilometer, passing various local attractions. Look for the sign for ACEJ ESCARIEN on your right, and follow the path to reach the hiking area.

Motorcycle Taxi (Moto)

To take a motorcycle taxi, find a moto park in the center of Muhanga. Inform the driver that you want to go to ACEJ ESCARIEN. They will take a route down Avenue de la Paix and then turn onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near the sign for ACEJ ESCARIEN, from where you will just need to walk a short distance to the hiking area.
