If you are traveling by car from Musanze Caves, head southeast on the main road (A104) towards the city center of Musanze. Continue for about 2 km until you reach the intersection with the road to Colline Gakoro. Turn left onto this road. Follow the road for approximately 5 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the viewpoint. The last part of the journey involves a short hike to the actual viewpoint, which is well-marked.
Public Transportation
To reach Umusozi 360° Viewpoint using public transportation, start by taking a moto-taxi from Musanze Caves to the Musanze town market. The fare should be around 1,000 RWF. Once at the market, look for a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Colline Gakoro. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Umusozi 360° Viewpoint. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes, and the fare will likely be around 500-700 RWF.
