Walking

From the center of Ruhengeri, start at the main bus station. Head southeast on Avenue de la Paix towards Avenue du Commerce. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the Kigali - Ruhengeri Road (N4). Cross the road carefully. The bus station is a common landmark, and people are familiar with it. Once crossed, turn left onto Kigali - Ruhengeri Road (N4) and follow it for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for public transport bicycles (known locally as 'moto-taxis') that can also take you closer to your destination if needed. After 1.5 km, look for a sign pointing to Nyarutovu village. Take the right path indicated by the sign, and you will find Ibuye rya Bagenge approximately 300 meters down this road.

From the main bus station in Ruhengeri, take a moto-taxi (motorbike taxi) directly to Ibuye rya Bagenge. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ibuye rya Bagenge, which is known locally. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey. The driver will take you along Kigali - Ruhengeri Road (N4) towards Nyarutovu, where you will be dropped off close to your destination.
