Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Musanze. Head north on the RN4 road towards Kinigi. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach Kinigi. Once in Kinigi, follow the signs for the Volcanoes National Park. Keep an eye out for the Red Rocks Arts Centre sign on your right. The exact location is on Road, Kinigi, and you should see the center shortly after turning onto that road. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach Red Rocks Arts Centre via public transportation, take a bus from Musanze to Kinigi. Buses leave frequently from Musanze bus station and the ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kinigi, you will need to hire a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining distance to Red Rocks Arts Centre. The moto-taxi ride will cost approximately 1,000 RWF (about $1) and will take around 10 minutes. Be sure to tell the driver you are going to Red Rocks Arts Centre.

Walking
If you are staying in Kinigi and prefer to walk, you can reach Red Rocks Arts Centre on foot. From the center of Kinigi, head north along the main road. It is approximately a 3-kilometer walk and will take around 30-40 minutes. Look for the sign for Red Rocks Arts Centre as you approach; it will be on your right side. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially if it's a warm day.
