    Getting There

    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from Musanze town, which is around 60 km from Rwandezi. Take the RN4 road heading east towards Kigali. After approximately 20 km, you will reach a junction; take the left fork onto the RN5 road. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach the village of Rwandezi. Look for signs indicating the wetland area as you approach. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be rough.

    Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Musanze, head to the bus station and take a bus heading towards Kigali. Inform the bus driver or conductor that you want to stop at Rwandezi. This journey will cost around 1,000 RWF. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Rwandezi, you may need to walk or hire a local motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto') to reach the wetland area, which should cost around 500 RWF.
