Walking
From the center of Ruhengeri, head towards the main road (A1). Walk north along Avenue de la Republique until you reach the intersection with Avenue du 1er Novembre. Turn left onto Avenue du 1er Novembre and continue walking until you reach the bus station.

Motorcycle Taxi (Moto)
At the bus station, you can find motorcycle taxis (known as 'motos'). Negotiate the fare with the rider, typically around 1,500 Rwandan Francs. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ruhondo Beach Resort at Ruhondo Lake. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenic views as you travel!

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more adventurous route, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ruhengeri. Head out of the town on Avenue de la Republique towards the A1 road. Once you reach the main road, turn right and follow the road for about 15 km towards Ruhondo Lake. The ride should take about an hour. Be sure to follow the signs leading to the resort.
