Walking
If you are in the center of Ruhengeri, start at the Ruhengeri Market. Head east on Avenue de la Paix for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Nyakinama Road. At this intersection, turn left onto Nyakinama Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and small eateries along the way. Look for the sign for Urugano Virunga Palace on your left; it will be clearly marked. The guest house is located at the end of the road.

From the center of Ruhengeri, rent a bicycle at one of the local rental shops. Begin your journey by heading towards Avenue de la Paix, cycling east for about 500 meters. When you reach the intersection with Nyakinama Road, turn left. Continue cycling along Nyakinama Road, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers long. Enjoy the scenery as you pass by local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the Urugano Virunga Palace sign on your left-hand side as you approach; it will be easy to spot.

To take a mototaxi (motorcycle taxi), find a designated mototaxi stand in the center of Ruhengeri. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Urugano Virunga Palace on Nyakinama Road. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of Urugano Virunga Palace, where you can enjoy your stay.
