    If you are driving from the town of Huye in Southern Province, take the RN1 road towards Kigali. Continue on RN1 for about 36 km until you reach the junction for Kigali. At the junction, keep left to stay on RN1. After approximately 9 km, take the exit towards Kiyovu. Follow the signs to Kiyovu and look for parking options nearby. The Gorilla Statue is located in Kiyovu, Kigali, where you can park your car and walk to the statue.

    Public Transportation

    To reach the Gorilla Statue using public transport, take a bus from Huye to Kigali. Buses frequently depart from the Huye bus station and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Nyabugogo bus station in Kigali, you can take a taxi or a motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto') to Kiyovu. The taxi ride will cost around 1,500 RWF, while the motorcycle taxi will cost around 1,000 RWF. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Gorilla Statue in Kiyovu.
