    Getting There

    Walking

    Start in the center of Cayon, near the main square. From there, head east on Main Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with the road leading toward the mountains. Keep an eye out for the sign that indicates the way to Spooners. Turn left at the junction, and you will begin to see signs for River to Spooners. Follow this road for approximately 15-20 minutes. You will pass by local homes and gardens, so take in the local scenery. As you approach the hiking area, the road will become less paved, indicating that you are nearing the hiking trails. Keep following the road until you reach the entrance to River to Spooners, which is marked by a small sign.

    Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start in Cayon center and ride east on Main Street. After about 5 minutes, you will reach the junction with the road toward the mountains. Turn left at this junction. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. The road may be bumpy, so be cautious. You will see signs directing you to Spooners as you get closer. Continue on this road until you arrive at the entrance of River to Spooners, which is clearly marked.
