Walking
From the center of Gingerland, start at the main village square. Head south on the main road, following signs towards Basseterre. After approximately 2.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Stay to the left and continue on the main road, which leads to Basseterre. Keep walking for another 1 kilometer until you see a large roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Cayon Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see Independence Square on your left at 77WH+F33, Basseterre. The park is well-marked and hard to miss.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Gingerland, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. You can catch a bus heading to Basseterre; they run frequently. The bus fare is very affordable. Once on the bus, inform the driver you are going to Independence Square. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the square. After disembarking, walk a short distance to the square, which is located at 77WH+F33, Basseterre.
