Walking
From the center of Newcastle, head east on the main road (Newcastle Road) towards the direction of the beach. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on the main road. Follow this road as it curves to the left and becomes the Island Main Road (also known as the Old Road). Continue walking for about 3 km until you reach the small village of Mannings. Look for signs that indicate the way to New River Estate, which will be accessed from an unnamed road off the main road.

Public Transport - Bus
From Newcastle, you can catch a local bus heading towards Charlestown. Buses are typically available at the bus stop located near the beach. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at Mannings. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Mannings, you can either walk or ask a local for directions to New River Estate, which is situated on an unnamed road just off the main Island Road.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Newcastle. Start by heading east on Newcastle Road and follow the same route as if you were walking, but on your bicycle. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit and continue along the Island Main Road. You will enjoy the scenic views along the way. After approximately 3 km, you will enter the village of Mannings. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to New River Estate.
