Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Canaries Quarter to Sandals Halcyon Beach, start by heading southeast on the main road out of Canaries. Follow the signs towards Castries. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the Castries - Gros Islet Highway. Merge onto the highway, heading north. Continue on the highway for about 10 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs to Sandals Halcyon Beach. The entrance to the resort will be on your left. There is no parking fee for guests.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Sandals Halcyon Beach via public transportation, take a local minibus from Canaries Quarter to Castries. Minibuses are usually located at designated stops in Canaries; you can ask locals for the nearest stop. The fare is approximately 3-5 EC dollars. Once you arrive in Castries, you will need to transfer to another minibus that heads towards Gros Islet. Inform the driver that you are going to Sandals Halcyon Beach. The total travel time will be around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Sandals stop, it’s a short walk to the resort entrance.

• Taxi

  For a more direct and comfortable option, consider taking a taxi from Canaries Quarter to Sandals Halcyon Beach. You can negotiate a fare with the driver before starting your journey. The cost is usually around 40-60 EC dollars, depending on your starting point and the time of day. The drive will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Ensure that the taxi driver knows the exact location of Sandals Halcyon Beach to avoid any confusion.
