If you are starting from the Castries Market, exit the market and head towards the main road, John Compton Highway. Turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on your right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jeremie Street. Turn right onto Jeremie Street, and after a short walk, you will find Derek Walcott Square on your left.

From the Pointe Seraphine Cruise Terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight towards the main road. Once you reach the road, turn left onto John Compton Highway. Walk for approximately 15 minutes. As you walk, keep an eye out for local shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection with Jeremie Street, turn right, and you will see Derek Walcott Square on your left after a short distance.
