Getting There

• Bus

  From Castries, head to the Castries Bus Terminal located in the city center. Look for a bus heading to the south of the island, specifically one that mentions 'Grand Anse' or 'Gros Islet'. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Grand Anse, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to the beach.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Castries. Simply ask the driver to take you to Grand Anse Beach. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey; it should cost around 40-50 Eastern Caribbean Dollars. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are close to the waterfront area in Castries, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head towards the William Peter Boulevard and follow the road south along the coast. Keep walking for about 3 miles until you reach Grand Anse Beach. This walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

• Local Transportation (Minibus)

  Look for a local minibus at the Castries Bus Terminal. These minibuses are smaller and often quicker. Board a minibus that has 'Grand Anse' on its destination board. The fare is usually cheaper than regular buses, and the trip will take about 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Anse, you will be dropped off near the beach area.
