Birdwatching St. Lucia’s endemics
Went birding with John to look for the islands endemics. We saw many parrots (St. Lucia Amazon), and the St. Lucia warbler and black finch along with many of the regional (lesser Antilles) endemics. We looked a long while for the St. Lucia thrasher (white bellied) but didn’t find it. Overall I saw 20 species on a 9 am - 3 pm cruise stop. We stopped at a local shop to get delicious home made bread filled with different things and a sea moss drink - both of which added to an authentic experience. Thanks John!

St. Lucia: Jacquot Trail Rainforest Small-Group Hiking Tour
Nice hike into the rain forest
Pleasant rain forest hike, nicely maintained trail. Moderate level of difficulty. Guide was excellent, pointed out flora and fauna. No issues with the shuttle pick up and drop off. We ended up being the only 2 hikers being picked up, which made for a nice private tour. We did, however, have to pay an extra 24USD total for the shuttle because there were no other passengers. But we were made aware of this possibility when we booked. The hike took a bit over 2 hours, including stops to look at plants pointed out by the guide. Note that although the trail climbs about 850 ft. there are no viewpoints since the area is heavily forested.

Adrena-Line Zipline, St. Lucia
Definitely adrenaline rush
Excellent fun activity I did with my son today, definitely an adrenaline rush, we definitely had fun. I would strongly advise anyone who is doing this to wear long sleeves tops/ trousers or leggings - the mosquitos are A LOT. I would definitely recommend this & would do it again.
