Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Castries, start at Derek Walcott Square. Head east on St. Lucia Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jeremie Street. Turn left onto Jeremie Street. Walk past the Castries Market and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, turn right and follow the coast along the boardwalk, enjoying the view of the harbor. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the Vigie Beach area, which is near the entrance to the Vigie Peninsula. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the end, where you can explore the scenic views of the peninsula.

• Public Bus

  From Castries, head to the main bus terminal located near the Castries Market. Look for a bus heading towards Vigie or the Vigie Beach area. The bus ride typically takes about 10-15 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at Vigie Beach. Once you arrive at the Vigie Beach stop, you can walk towards the peninsula by following the beach path or the nearby road leading into the peninsula area. It's a short walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the Vigie Peninsula.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Castries. Begin your journey from the rental shop, heading towards the waterfront. Follow the same route as the walking option by going along the waterfront boardwalk. When you reach the Vigie Beach area, you can park your bike and explore the remainder of the peninsula on foot. The bike ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
