Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Choiseul, start at the Choiseul Baptist Church, which is a well-known landmark. Head west on Church Street towards the main road (Cul-de-Sac Road). At the junction, turn left onto Cul-de-Sac Road and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass local shops and see the beautiful scenery of Saint Lucia. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to the Edmund Forest Reserve. When you reach the road sign that indicates the reserve, turn right onto the dirt path. Follow this path for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance of the Edmund Forest Reserve. The trailhead is marked and easy to find.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can start at the Choiseul Market. Head south on the main road towards the town of Laborie. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for the Edmund Forest Reserve on your left. Turn left onto the dirt path leading into the forest reserve. Be cautious of the terrain as it can be uneven. The total distance is about 3 kilometers from the market and should take around 15-20 minutes on a bicycle.

  • Public Transport

    Take a local minibus from Choiseul to Laborie. The bus stop is located near the Choiseul Market. Inform the driver that you are heading to the Edmund Forest Reserve. Once you arrive in Laborie, you will need to walk back towards Choiseul along the main road. After about 1 kilometer, look for the turnoff to the reserve on your right. Follow this path until you reach the entry point of the reserve. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and the walk from Laborie will take about 15 minutes.
