Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the capital city, Castries. Take the Castries-Gros Islet Highway (Route 60) heading north. After about 15-20 minutes, you will see signs for Pigeon Island National Park. Turn off the highway onto Pigeon Island Causeway. You will enter the park, where there is a parking area available (please note that there may be an entrance fee to the park). Once parked, walk towards the beach, following the signs that direct you to Pigeon Island Beach.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Pigeon Island Beach via public transportation, take a minibus or taxi from Castries heading to Gros Islet. The fare should be around $2-$5 USD. Inform the driver that you are going to Pigeon Island National Park. Upon arrival, you will need to walk to the entrance of the park, which is just a few minutes away. There will be a small entrance fee to access the park. After entering, follow the designated paths leading to Pigeon Island Beach.

  • Walking from within Pigeon Island National Park

    Once you are inside Pigeon Island National Park, head towards the main pathways that lead to the beach area. The beach is located on the western side of the island.
