Cross the highway carefully using the pedestrian crossing. Continue on the Gros Islet Highway heading north for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the village of Gros Islet. In Gros Islet, look for a bus terminal where you can catch a local bus to Martinique. The buses are usually marked with their destinations, so find one that says 'Martinique' or specifically 'Plage des Salines'. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride and disembark at the Plage des Salines stop. From the bus stop, it's just a short walk to the beach.

Start at any central point in Rodney Bay and make your way to the nearest bus stop along the Gros Islet Highway. Look for a bus heading towards Castries and let the driver know you want to go to Gros Islet. Once you arrive in Gros Islet, transfer to a local bus heading to Martinique. Confirm with the driver that the bus goes to Plage des Salines. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic and stops. After arriving, follow the signs to the beach which is a short walk from the bus drop-off point.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can opt for a shared taxi from Rodney Bay. Head to the main taxi stand located near the shopping area in Rodney Bay. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Plage des Salines. The shared taxi will wait until it is full before departing. This journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive at Plage des Salines, you will be dropped off near the entrance to the beach.
