Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
From the center of Rodney Bay, head towards the main road (Rodney Bay Road). Walk north along the road until you reach the intersection with the highway (Castries - Gros Islet Highway). Cross the highway carefully and continue straight until you see the entrance to the Waterfront area on your left. Follow the pathway leading to the waterfront, which will offer a scenic view of the bay.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main shopping area in Rodney Bay. Cycle north on Rodney Bay Road, then turn left onto the Castries - Gros Islet Highway. Continue cycling straight until you reach the Waterfront entrance on your left. The ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. Make sure to use the bike lanes where available and watch out for pedestrians.
Public Transport (Bus)
To reach the Waterfront by bus, walk to the nearest bus stop on Rodney Bay Road. Catch a bus heading towards Castries and inform the driver you want to get off at the Waterfront. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, you will need to walk a short distance to reach the Waterfront area, following the signs for the scenic view.
Taxi or Ride-share
If you prefer not to walk or bike, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing app. Request a ride to 'Waterfront, St Lucia.' The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the Waterfront area. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes from any central point in Rodney Bay.
