Walking
From the center of Barrouallie, head east on Main Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the T-junction at the end of the street. Turn left onto the road leading towards Clare Valley. Walk along this road for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass several local shops and houses. Keep an eye out for the sign towards Fort Charlotte. As you approach Clare Valley, the entrance to Fort Charlotte will be on your right, marked by a small sign.

From the center of Barrouallie, locate the minibus stop near the market area. Take a minibus heading towards Clare Valley. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for Fort Charlotte. Once you get off, walk back a short distance; the entrance to Fort Charlotte will be on your left.

If you have rented a bicycle in Barrouallie, start from the main square and head east along Main Street towards the waterfront. Continue on the road leading to Clare Valley, which you will find well-marked. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes.
