Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the center of Barrouallie, head south towards the waterfront. Follow the main road along the coast until you reach the junction with the Leeward Highway. Turn left onto the Leeward Highway. Continue walking along this highway for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and residential areas. Keep an eye out for the signs leading to Layou Petroglyph Park. The entrance is located on the right side of the highway, just past the Buccament area. The park is marked with clear signage.

  • Bicycle

    If you have a bicycle, start at the center of Barrouallie and cycle south towards the waterfront. Once you reach the coast, turn left onto the main road that leads to the Leeward Highway. Cycle along the Leeward Highway for about 1.5 kilometers. Be cautious of traffic as you approach Buccament. Look for the entrance to Layou Petroglyph Park on your right, which is well-marked.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Barrouallie, locate the bus stop near the main road. Take a bus heading towards Kingstown that stops at Buccament. Inform the driver you want to get off at Buccament, which is about a 10-15 minute ride. Once you disembark, walk back along the Leeward Highway in the direction you came from. The entrance to Layou Petroglyph Park will be on your right side, shortly after you pass the local shops.
