Getting There

Walking
From the center of Port Elizabeth, head towards the waterfront and walk along the main road, also known as the Princess Margaret Highway. Continue walking until you reach the junction at the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary. Turn left onto the Mespo Highway. Follow the Mespo Highway for approximately 1.5 kilometers, and you will find the Belmont Lookout on your right. The lookout is well-marked, and you'll enjoy beautiful views along the way.

Taxi
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local taxi from Port Elizabeth. Approach any taxi driver and tell them you want to go to Belmont Lookout on Mespo Highway. The fare is typically around $5-10 EC, depending on your starting point. The drive takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, the taxi will drop you off right at the entrance.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Port Elizabeth and ride towards the waterfront. Follow the Princess Margaret Highway, then take the left onto the Mespo Highway. The ride is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. There are bike racks available at the Belmont Lookout where you can secure your bicycle.
