Take the left fork towards the village of Pembroke. Continue straight for about 20 minutes until you reach the Pembroke area. Look for the signs indicating the Vermont Nature Trail. It is located near the main entrance, which will be on your right.

    From the Port Elizabeth waterfront, you can take a water taxi to the nearby village of Pembroke. Once you arrive at the Pembroke dock, exit the boat and walk towards the main road. Follow the road straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Vermont Nature Trail on your left. Make sure to check the water taxi schedules for the return trip.

  • Hiking

    If you are near the Bequia Heritage Museum, you can start a hike towards Vermont Nature Trail. From the museum, head southeast down the path leading towards the beach, then follow the coastline north. After about 30 minutes of walking along the beach, you will reach the entrance to Vermont Nature Trail, which is accessible from the road.
