From the Botanic Gardens, take the exit onto the main road leading towards Kingstown. Continue driving south on the main road until you reach the junction at Arnos Vale. Turn left onto the Arnos Vale road and follow the signs for Fort Duvernette. The fort is located on a small island offshore, but you can park your car at the Arnos Vale Beach parking area. From there, you will need to take a small boat taxi to reach the fort. The boat taxi costs approximately $5 USD per person.

From the Botanic Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a minibus heading towards Kingstown. Ask the driver to let you off at the Arnos Vale junction. Once you disembark, walk a short distance to the Arnos Vale Beach. Here, you can find boat taxi services that will take you to Fort Duvernette. The boat taxi fare is around $5 USD per person.
