From the main docks in Mayreau, head east along the coastline towards Salt Whistle Bay. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the end of Salt Whistle Bay. Look for a narrow path that leads inland. Follow this path which will take you through some local residential areas. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Mesopotamia. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a junction. Turn left at the junction and continue until you see the entrance to Montreal Gardens on your right. The gardens will be a short walk from this point.

From the docks in Mayreau, you can take a local boat taxi to Union Island. Upon arrival at the Union Island docks, ask for directions to get to the Mesopotamia area. You can either walk or catch a local bus to Mesopotamia, which is about a 15-minute ride. Once you arrive in Mesopotamia, follow the directions to the gardens as mentioned previously.
